Foundation Rwanda
McElroy Translation is proud to give to Foundation Rwanda. Your heart can’t help but break when you remember back to the genocide there. Today, the women who were victims of the rampant campaign of rape and the children who were born from it need help, and Foundation Rwanda is trying to provide just that.
Foundation Rwanda’s mission is to 1) provide funding for the secondary school education of children born of rape during the 1994 genocide, 2) link their mothers to existing psychological and medical support services, and 3) create awareness about the consequences of genocide and sexual violence through photography and new media.
