Technology has always been a passion of mine. As a child, I got as much enjoyment from taking my toys apart as I did from playing with them. At least now as an adult I can put them back together!

I was born in California, but spent the majority of my life in Colorado. Wanting a change, I packed up the cat, the computers, and the cookware and moved to Austin. Austin was one of my top choices to relocate, and I am fortunate I was able to find such a great company in such a great town!

As much as I love computers, technology, and the digital world, I have to admit to a more analog hobby—baking. Most nights you will find me in the kitchen, dusted with flour, experimenting on the best bread, the moistest muffins, or the perfect popover. Baking is, to me, the finest fusion of both science and art.

When I'm not in the kitchen, I like to spend time on the strip—the fencing strip. I fence both foil and épée, and hope this year to earn an official rating.

I love books and am always reading. Currently I am on my third read of Dante’s Commedia. It’s one of those books I come back to at different points in my life, and I hope someday to learn enough Italian to read it in the original.

I’ve worked in the technology field my entire adult career, from large corporations like IBM and TIAA-CREF to small businesses you’ve probably never heard of. But no matter the size of the company, I bring to them a desire to use my skills in technology to make things better, easier, and more efficient!
