Because communicating locally but globally effects all parts of a business, we work with many different divisions within companies. We often work with marketing departments to make sure their messages are in the languages of their customers. We also work with human resources, legal departments, regulatory officers, procurement, and financial departments.

How do you know we are experienced in these areas? Just look at the numbers:

  • McElroy has provided language services in most industries as identified by NAICS codes.
  • We have translated 227 languages just since the year 2000.
  • Our management team has an average of over fourteen years in the industry.
  • Our track record shows four decades of conservative fiscal stability and profit; able to finance large-scale projects.
  • Our technology and resource development investment is above industry average.
  • We retain many 20+-year clients—we believe in continually earning our clients’ business.
  • Our very first client (from 1968) is still a client.

Piper Rudnick Certified Japanese Patent Translation

45,000 Words into Japanese in 48 Hours

THE CHALLENGE
A law firm client had forty-eight hours to get a certified Japanese translation of two patent applications totaling 45,000 words available in hardcopy only to meet a Japanese filing deadline. One tough choice was whether to spend time up front creating editable files in order to use translation memory OR to get the documents into the hands of translators immediately and use additional human resources during translation to address consistency. In addition, our law firm contact faced the challenge of filing these patents in Japan after business hours when technical assistance from her office was not available.
