300,000 Page Patent Infringement Litigation
Translation Unchallenged by Opposing Counsel
THE CHALLENGE
Our client represented an overseas litigant in a case that produced over 300,000 pages of non-English documents from opposing counsel. The documents were very technical in nature and the trial schedule was tight. In order to prepare for discovery, the client needed to know which documents were relevant to the material issues of the lawsuit for full translation.
THE SOLUTION
In just under four months, all 300,000 pages of the documents were screened by McElroy translators, the screening reports were delivered for review by client attorneys, and full translations were ordered and delivered. It should be noted that opposing counsel has not challenged the accuracy of any of the translations.
CLIENT FEEDBACK
“[McElroy’s] turnaround time and cooperation in the face of some borderline unreasonable requests have been outstanding. Throughout our relationship the entire organization has demonstrated the highest level of ability, professionalism, flexibility and creativity.”
