Project Support Specialist Earns Certification

Congratulations to Project Support Specialist Darryl Baker, who attended California State University-Chico’s Localization Program and earned its Localization Certificate. This program, which is supported by the Globalization and Localization Association and The Localization Institute, was initiated in early 2006 and developed by industry experts in response to the growing demand for localization professionals. It consists of 45 hours of self-paced, online instruction focused on winning strategies, budgeting, ROI, project management, content management, vendor management, and additional localization challenges, technologies, and solutions, followed by a three-day, intensive, hands-on workshop and a final certification exam. The program has been approved for 20 American Translators Association (ATA) continuing education credits.
