The World Congress on Information Technology is coming to Austin!

Austin, TX - December 2005 Delegates from around the world will arrive in Austin for the World Congress on InformationTechnology (WCIT) in May 2006. Is your business prepared to do business with delegates from over 25 different countries? We want to help you provide a Texas-size welcome and support your business with our international visitors!
This event is the largest of it’s kind ever held in the state of Texas and it is a great prize for Austin to have won this opportunity. Cities hosting WCIT in the past report that the boon to their economy lasted well beyond the conference itself.
Austin Community College (ACC), McElroy Translation, and International Center of Austin (ICA) are collaborating to provide focused training to area businesses and local public service employees on culturally sensitive customer service. These training sessions:
- Are very affordable, and brief enough to encourage maximum participation
- Will provide information on the WCIT event
- Offer cultural content to help you and your staff interact successfully with high-level visitors from around the world.
Trainings will be held during the months of March and April of 2006 in preparation for the WCIT (May 1-5, 2006). We will be sending notification of the dates and fees soon and expect a strong response so you can mark you calendars!
