Greetings!

McElroy Translation has had an exciting start to 2010, beginning with the announcement of our newest member to the executive staff, Kyle Sherbenou, as our Manager of Technology. In addition to maintaining McElroy’s technology infrastructure, website, workflow management system and client portals, Kyle’s team creates customized solutions for many of our technology client’s needs, such as an automated translation system for online reviews (See case study).

Other exciting news at the start of the year is our first webinar, scheduled for February 17 at 1:00 PM EST, to educate businesses on the power of localization. We are co-hosting the Global Business webinar with Lûcrum Marketing and Bridge360. We also are working with Future Pharmaceuticals on a February podcast focused on localization in the life sciences industry. With more than 40 years of work in translation and localization, we able to provide a lot of insight into the process and help businesses capture new market share worldwide.

I believe that 2009 showed U.S. companies that they need to continue to stay focused on global expansion so they don't depend completely on one country's economy. While some companies and pundits have shied away from global expansion in the past year, we are seeing many customers wake up to the opportunity offered by reaching new customers around the world. Globalization is not going away…and we are ready to educate our customers about it and help them succeed globally.
